The course runs from mid-afternoon Sunday 26 July to early afternoon Friday 31 July. This year we welcome Bine Bryndorf, renowned Danish organist and former Professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, alongside Prof Henry Fairs from Berlin and an outstanding international faculty. The theme, Northern Breezes, explores J.S. Bach in the context of Nordic organ culture, past and present. Organ Week includes daily lessons, workshops, presentations and concerts exploring a wide variety of repertoire associated with the course’s theme.
As ever, St Andrews Organ Week welcomes active and observer participants of all ages and levels of ability to participate in daily one-to-one or groups lessons, workshops, lectures and concerts. An inspiring and intensive week awaits all those with a passion for the instrument!
