Directions to Flowerhill Parish Church, Airdrie 

Flowerhill Parish Church is situated between two streets – Graham Street and Hallcraig Street.   There is pedestrian access from Graham Street, but if coming by car please come to Hallcraig Street, as there is ample free parking near the church.

Directions from the Stirling area

Leave M80 at Auchenkilns Junction (Junction 5), signposted A73 Airdrie and Kilsyth

Keep following A73 to Airdrie.  As you reach Airdrie (about 6 miles from J5)  the road rises and you come to  Rawyards Roundabout.   Go straight through, still on A73, signed Motherwell and Town Centre.

Pass Rawyards Care Home on left, and Airdrie Leisure Centre on right.

At next roundabout go straight through (2nd exit), still on A73.

Look for Kennelworth Drive on left, and as soon as you have passed that, turn 1st right into Drumbathie Road.

Continue along Drumbathie Road, which then becomes Flowerhill Street, and then Hallcraig Street.   Pass Flowerhill Business Centre and St. Andrew’s Hospice on right, and also St. Margaret’s R.C. Church on right.

Immediately after that you will see free council parking areas on left and right and Flowerhill Church is on the left, alongside the parking area. 

Directions from Glasgow, East Kilbride, Hamilton area

Head for Coatbridge and then follow signs for Airdrie (A89).

Pass Monklands Hospital on left, and continue straight on at the traffic lights.

Pass Tudor Hotel on right, and at roundabout go straight through (2nd exit) signed Town Centre.  Go straight through next traffic lights (with Airdrie Savings Bank on left corner), and come to traffic lights at Airdrie Cross.

Turn left at traffic lights into Bank Street, and then 1st right into Hallcraig Street.

Pass Salvation Army on left, and pass Hallcraig car park (2 levels). There is no need to use this car park as the next ones are closer to the church.

There is ample free parking in one of the open council car parks on left and right of the road, immediately beside Flowerhill Church on right.

Our membership is small with only 20 or so members, but we represent a wide spectrum of ages and interests. Our aim is to encourage those with an interest in Church music and music in general – especially the young, promote music activities in relation to the organ and build a social network of organists in Lanarkshire, to adapt to the changing needs of organists and musicians and church music in general.
