Saturday 12th September • 10am–12 noon • Cairnlea Parish Church, Airdrie

Ever wondered what it feels like to sit at a real pipe organ and bring its sound to life? Whether you’re an experienced musician, a curious beginner, or someone who has simply admired the organ from afar, this is your chance to give it a try.
The Lanarkshire Society of Organists is hosting a relaxed and friendly Come and Play the Organ Morning at Cairnlea Parish Church, Airdrie, and everyone is welcome.
From 10am to 12 noon, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Try the organ — sit at the console, explore the stops, and play a few notes or a favourite tune.
Meet local organists — chat with members of the Society, ask questions, and learn how the instrument works.
Discover the pipe organ — find out what makes this magnificent instrument so unique.
No experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to have a go.
If you’ve ever fancied trying out a pipe organ, now’s your chance.
We look forward to welcoming you for a fun, musical Saturday morning in Airdrie.
